Information Technology Services

The Information Technology Services at Walsh University brings students, faculty, and staff the highest form of technology in order to enrich teaching and learning on campus. IT supports the campus by providing leadership, quality resources, and effective services while nurturing an environment in which technology users can flourish. Our dedicated staff of experts can consult, train, and assist you in the use of technology resources. Services that I.T. provides include:

Self-Service Password Service

This service requires a first time registration. Once registered you can use this service to unlock or reset your Walsh University password. If the Help Desk resets your password you will need to use this service to change your default password.

ECN (Electronic Course Network) 

ECN is the Learning Management System for Walsh University’s online programs. In addition, many traditional courses use ECN tools to supplement student learning.

MyWalsh 

MyWalsh is the University portal that contains information about meal plans, menus, advising, courses, and general life on campus.

Cavalier Center

The Cavalier Center is the student information system - students register for classes, view their grades, review financial aid, and update personal information.

Office 365

Walsh subscribes to MicroSoft's Office365. All faculty, staff and students have access to Email, OneDrive, online Office products and more. In addition, all Walsh students and employees can download a free copy of Microsoft Office for Mac, PC and mobile devices.

Atomic Learning Atomic Learning is a free service to all Walsh University students, faculty and staff. The service has hours of online training in a variety of topics such as communication skills, Microsoft Products, programming languages and much much more!

Videoconferencing

Walsh subscribes to BlueJeans  for videoconferencing services. BlueJeans works with a browser or app on your tablet or phone. Contact the help desk for more information.

Campus Telephones

Information Technology maintains our VoIP phone system, faxes and campus owned cell phones.

Classroom Technology

Information Technology manages the technology in all classrooms on campus and at our satellite campuses. In addition, we manage the active learning classrooms in the Hannon building and Betzler buildings on the main campus.

University Printers and Computer Labs

Information Technology manages all computer labs, campus printers and Walsh owned computers on the main campus and our satellite campuses.

Help Desk

The Office of Information Technology Help Desk is located in Farrell Hall 212, on the second floor directly across from the stairwell nearest the library.

Help Desk In-Person Hours (during school session):
  • Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.-m. to 12 p.m.
  • Christmas and Spring Break Hours:  8 a.m. to 5 p.m.,  Monday to Friday
  • Summer Hours: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
